About This Site
I have worked in Dallas hospitality for over a decade. Hotels, bars, restaurants. Front of house and back. I have opened places, helped close places, and watched good operators lose money on problems that were completely avoidable.
Most of those problems are not glamorous. They are about linens that show up late. Uniform vendors that nickel-and-dime you. Housekeeping staff who quit because the systems are broken. Water bills that spike because nobody is tracking usage. The unsexy side of hospitality is where the money actually gets made or lost.
I started writing here because I kept having the same conversations with other operators. The same questions about vendors, the same complaints about costs, the same confusion about regulations. It made sense to put it all in one place.
I cover linen management, uniform programs, vendor selection, and operational costs on the blog. I also keep a running list of Dallas hospitality resources that I personally recommend.
I do not represent a company. I am not selling anything. I just like this industry, I know Dallas, and I think operators deserve straight talk instead of marketing fluff.
If something I write helps you avoid a mistake or save money, that is the whole point.
